Unfortunate Comedy Typos part 1

Ever have one of those days where no matter what you do, you just can't type properly? Today, I'm finding it impossible to type StringBuffer - it keeps coming out as StringBugger.

Calling Dr. Freud, calling Dr. Freud.....

A couple of other Freudian slaps (ahem) SLIPS I keep having, mean that I keep declaring functino's (maybe a new fundamental particle for the Standard Model?) and functoni's - and I don't know if it's just me, but Func Toni conjures up a disturbing image of Swiss Toni in a gold lamé shirt with eighteen-inch collars, star-shaped shades, and a big-ass medallion, strutting his funky stuff to Graham Central Station - like this:

Damn, that's a funky bassline!

(sigh)

Thank crunchie it's Friday...

For me, it's _ymosue and browswer. The fingers just can't handle those.

I have my share of functinos too, but functoni conjures up the image of some kind of really cool pasta.

hehe - like it... so far we have

- fundamental particles
- pasta with an afro
- classic funk-pop song references

All from just one keyword. Keep 'em coming guys...

Larry Graham and Louis Johnson were two of the best Slap/Poppers in history of Pop/Funk.

The lack of real hits of Larry Graham as a solo artist I think keeps his name from the memory of most.

Anyway, back to the subject. I've been doing the same thing.

Nothing worse then mistyping the same word like 4-5 times in a row--everything time misspelling it the exact same way.

Dan: couldn't agree more. What I love about cheesey 70's funk in general, and Larry Grahams stuff in particular, is that sense of fun that he puts into it. I mean, would you really get a yodelling solo in a funk track these days? Pure class!

I've worked out how to play Larry Graham's "Hair", and "Pow" is the next on my ticklist - there's a bit of a funny rhythm going on with the right thumb around the third beat that keeps tripping me up at the moment. I'll get there... maybe have to grown an extra thumb, but I'll get there, dammit...

If I didn't know better, I might think you were knocking gold lamé shirts with eighteen-inch collars...

But I'll give you the benefit of the duobt.

Seth: wouldn't dream of it - just knocking the idea of Swiss Toni in one... need a hefty dose of Mind Bleach™ for that one.
